Oryt thanks, id try to do that although it really seems time consuming and effort-demanding. Thanks again, this thread helped alot :))
once the piranhas start regularly eating these pellet stuffed worms, try adding less worms and more loose pellets over time, they will get used to it eventually. If you live in a cold region get a heater, but if its tropical don't. keep the tank around 24-25 Celsius. glad to help:)

Qatar is a very hot place... I'm not entirely sure but I think it's in the Middle East, it's where deserts are. I'm too lazy to Google it... maybe he'll need a chiller more than a heater... and still I'm too lazy to Google it out. :nilly: But then again if it's in the Philippines...

(If you are truly resides in the Philippines, please don't make your hobby a crime... I can smell the fishyness, I still somehow doubt. Most of the livestock that you listed as food can be easily purchased in any pet-store in the Phil where people from Qatar can have a lot of difficulties to obtain it cause they would need a lot of money, that's why they would like to own a hawk, cheetah, or a tiger or a croc... something like that...)

Tip:Read the stickies section, it will get you further in Piranha keeping.

As far as the location thing goes, leaving it completely blank would be a bright idea. it's really irrelevant other then to try to connect with other members in your area. With so many people using the mobile ap now, we don't even see that info anymore. If he's keeping illegal fish in the wrong place, a mod will lock/delete this thread and we all know there's a possibility of someone getting caught and facing whatever penalties their government has decided on. it's out of our hand

now back to the actual questions

read this to see acceptable forms of piranha food. there's many suggestions including live. live it not a necessity though. you'll find much more economical and healthier choices. i would suggest just going straight to pellets (any brand would be a good start) and store bought fish fillet and shrimp.

your temperature question, we kinda need to know your water temperature and if it's dipping overnight too.

As for the color of your piranhas, take better pictures and repost them. that's a horrible original pic for us to get an idea of what exactly you're referring. A close up shot would be nice.

Thanks for the links. i'll definitely check em. And to EC, how did you find the article regarding legalities in the Philippines? Sure you must be a Filipino too to know government sites. And hell you could also be piranha owner because your viewing this thread. Piece of advice, if your really concerned, then start searching each and every shops in the Philippines for their legalities.

I'm viewing this thread, I live in Singapore, but i don't own Phirana (my profile pic is from the ones at River Safari).. It doesn't mean that I can't view threads on a public forum right?? Just my thoughts...

I think Piranha is illegal in most south east asian countries due to the potential harm it may cause if someone decided to release them into the native eco system.
as what to feed your fish, it's completely up to you, however if you do treasure your pets then best to feed something that will be good for them. Piranha can eat a lot of different kind of food but their primary diet is fish, mammalian meat can be difficult to digest so best not to use it as a stable diet.
personally I don't really care if someone decide to feed live, if one choose to do so I would hope there's as little suffer to the prey animal as possible.
don't feed oversize live prey, make sure your piranhas are really hungry and will consume the prey animal as quickly as possible.
and there's no need of posting those left over pictures of your live feeding as they can be disturbing to many members.

Thanks, i think ill be feeding them fillets and hakari pellets. And il also change the light color to something deemer and and more plants. Should i add live plants or fake plants?
