red belly piranha eggs???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so its been a day or two. and i found out alot. best thing i found out is to boil a egg take the yolk and mix it into a foggy mixture. Feed the fry. This is what saved me i think. soon as i fed them the egg yolk they seemed to become alot more active. only thing bad about the egg yolk is its a bit messy and you will have to watch your water carefully. i dont know once they become bigger if they will still eat this but as of now they have been.

forgot to mention that i have been using the seachem polyguard and seachem stability. i think these also have been good to me .. taking care of fungus and water chemistry. only thing is man the yolk is very messy. it settles on the bottom and has a white cover. good for the lazy fry.

So could this be beginners luck? i have a mass amount of fry. i mean alot. how is there a way of counting! id say 1/3 are swimming like crazy and the rest seem to just stay at the bottom. there alive just not to active. egg yolk and bbs work great. beware the egg yolk is very bad for your tank extremely messy. i think the bbs eats the egg yolk also anyone know?

i have a new video that I'm uploading as we speak

so i woke up and damit. there must be a 50-80 % loss. all the dead fry look very white is that a fungus or is that what they look like dead lol. man i thought i had it. there is still a few in there looking very good. i was wonder what would cause a die off that large in such a short amount of time.. i cry

the few what did survive have orange bellys so there full of bbs . i was wondering why some fry swim and eat while alot of them were still bottom eating. could it be the lazy fry on the bottom didnt develope properly
