Ok since the camera's out I wanted to post some pics of my Red Devil. He's now pushing 10" TL after a one month diet of Tiger Barbs. He just got the last one today. I wish I could take better pictures.

haha i love this guy. I remember a little while ago when he went on his "vacation" lol. glad to see you have him back.

wow the coloration on that guy is amazing. I need to find me a male with that coloration to contrast the white and creamy orange amph's that I have. :)

Yeah, that was an odd set of curcumstances. I'm lucky I got him back. He is an awsome fish, the interaction is off the chart he thinks he owns the whole family room!

Thanks, when I bought him he was a pale yellow 2" fire pisser chasing all his tank mates around the tank. He is a very bright orange, you almost need sunglasses to look at him for a while. I love his color too.

Very nice, I have to say I love his/her color. What's it's diet and lighting? Is this a pure Red Devil or a LF? Looks like a cross. Great looking fish.:headbang2

Thanks guys!

He is a male Red Devil (Amphiluphus Labiatus) not a Rd/Midas cross. His tank is lite with one 48" 32 watt 10K bulb. His normal diet is NLS 4.5mm Jumbo Fish Formula, Omega One Color pellets, Frozen Krill and Night Crawlers.

Wow, awesome coloration. He looks like a goldfish on roids...lol
