I've got a WC(rapps) female around 9" in my 400 with a hell of a lot of fish, she is super aggressive during feeding time, she will take smelt from my pbass that range from 9"-16", also the trimac x festea would be a bad ass fish, but hybrids are lame, IMO!!

i think im gonna give them a try just gotta find a good size...the only fish i got that will get bigger in the clown knife and the albino oscar the other two dont think there getting any bigger...before i get it i gotta get my water good its been aggravating ..bump

Its like this with all your comments. You say "its all hype" yet every fish youve kept, youve never kept full grown, you keep them for a few weeks then think you have the experience with them enough to make asinine comments.
When youve kept something longer than 2-3 months...and definitely longer than 2 yrs, then your comments will hold more weight. Until then, you ought to just read and learn...and learn punctuation and spelling.
Oh...and hows your "killer" dovii pair you keep in a 35?...
Those are just feeders though right? So it doesnt matter...On top of not knowing much about which you speak, you cant even keep fish properly housed.
For the love of all things fishy, please stop calling festae red terrors. They are festae by all who keep and love them. When you call them red terrors, you show that you're a total festae nooblet.
you sound stupid my male bl nasty and dovii are both 12 inches and ive had them from fry i raise there babys up and use them for food for my sleeper gobys and the festae could never make it to food size i currently have a adult pair of bl nast cuban cichlids and dovii also have young pairs of dovii and the newest race of loselli so like i said dont belive the hype and i got rid of my festae pair because the were usless cause there babys always get killed before they grow to food size. but because i dont run around mfk posting pics of my fish all day long im not telling the truth hah for the 100th time anybody in the dc area is welcome to come see my cichlids they are very nice you can also see one of umbees i sold to real hard cichlids on you tube. see the difference between me and you is you love your festae and do anything you can to keep him/her around like handpicking weaker tankmates and things like that while i just keep the biggest baddest and best producing fish to make me lots of feeders. thing is im not biased and dont care how good they look. and festae are not the only one ive also keep and breed umbee also and they are nowhere as mean as eveyone says. unless you call a fish growing larger than all his tankmates so now he can beat them mean but in that 8-12 in range wich most cichlids dont get bigger than they cant hang.
