Red Texas Project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
just watched the female eat the eggs. Tried to save a few that had little black dots forming. sad times.

and to my surprise there are about 60+ little sperms wiggling in one of the other pots in the tank. she must have laid 2 batches of eggs.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow when I transfer the wigglers to the 10 gallon. I was debating on putting them in a breeder box and leaving them in the parents tank, but I don't really want to purchase a breeder box when i have a million 10 gallon tanks sitting empty.

I agree plus it will be easier to keep the water quality up as well if you get anything out of it your going to have to send some my way haha

I have family in akron/canton, we could always meet up when I make my trip there. I'm filling the 10 gallon up with water from the main tank right now. I've noticed the wigglers have almost consumed the entire egg, so they should be free swimming in the next few days.

Awesome keep us posted I still have to get a tank going so I'm at least a month or two out but i could always get one out of the next batch unless you still have them when I'm ready.

I may be buying a 220 gallon this weekend so fingers crossed.
