not sure why you're not getting notifications, We had a nasty cold front come through, and I lost about 50% of the new fry I moved, but the rest are doing well . The first batch is probably around 1/4" and are starting to show some interesting development. I'm gonna toss the breeder net and just setup a few more 10 gallon tanks to grow out future batches. I'll get pics soon. I've also been contemplating a vinegar eel culture for the fry, not entirely sure yet.

Nice, good to hear things, for the most part, are going well. Do you plan to keep a few adults of your own out of this batch.?

I do plan on keeping a few ( maybe 5 at most ) I'm going to grow them out to about 1-2" before I pick them out and sell them. I do owe a few to a fellow friend on here, so he'll be getting a few as well. But I figure i'll have about 30 or so fry to get rid of.

So i'll be doing a diy breeder rack with 10 gallon tanks for the fry to grow out in, since they're already about to spawn again. Anyone have any recommendations on when (what size) i should start dividing the babies due to aggression.

laid eggs again today. Currently have 2 generations growing out + what are about to hatch.

here's a video of what's left from the first batch, as well as the second/third. I've given about half of the first batch to a friend to grow out in his pond, looking forward to how they look in a few months.

I would have thought the iphone X would take better videos.
