Yep that would be how its spelled ty Lupin. we use to get those in at work all the time. pretty sure thats what it is. or possibly a featherfin but it doesn't have the finnage, and if thats a golfball it's sitting o n at that size likely won't be 100% until it gets bigger. I really should start looking into rememebring scientific names more >.<

and the mudsucker looks like a sturgeon? hard to tell from some of the picks. as for the catfish... sturgeon are pretty tough ( and by tough I mean thick scaled, sturdy build).. but if it'll fit in it's mouth.. it's gonna try and eat it eventually.

Hi, if anybody ever reads this, will you please ID my fishes for me?
There are 3 fishes, the black one, the silver one, and the algae eater

The first one is not rosy barb. The color does not indicate rosy barb. As the photo does not show how elongated that barb actually is, the color patterns certainly match Puntius filamentosus, better known as filament barb.

That first is definatly a filament barb no doubt about it, im keeping them.

Your 'mud sucker' is a common pleco Hypostomus punctatus or one of the similar species defiantly not an Acipenser species.

The "mud sucker" looks like a common pleco. The catfish won't eat it till they get larger. Again, I stress that you research fish before you purchase them.

Yea people, give some advice, at least I'm doing it now... sob sob

So anyway, that is a golfball that i threw in for fun... Thanks for helping me identify them.

And by the way, that black fish with an orange fin or something was mean! It chases around my fishes all day long. And for my tiny black ghost knife, well it is not as fast as that black fish and is always geting injured by it. I just realized today and I put the black fish into the endli tank, for a light snack for the endli... muhahaha
