Regional Clown Loach pricing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I pick up my 6 10inchers this weekend but the price is a secret as I am selling 2. When I sell the 2 I will let you know what I paid for them. Knowing me I will probably keep all 6!! LOL LOL

2-3 inches- 8-10$
Never really see them much bigger than that with any consistency except in "not for sale" display tanks. The LFS around me are kinda crappy in general tho.

My LFS once had two 5-6" for sale, sold as a breeding pair.

He was asking $80 untill I contested the fact they don't breed in captivity and he dropped the price to $60. Sold!

btw.. no babies yet :P

Los Angeles Area, Small 1-1.5" loaches for $4, 2-3 inchers can be anywhere from $6-10, 3-4 inchers $8-20.

I bought my 3 and 4 inchers for $5 and $9 :) the 4 inchers were from a petsmart with some nice, ich free healthy loaches. still plenty of them left too.

They seem pretty cheap here when compared to other prices:
1-2" 30nt (US$1)
2-3" 150nt (US$5)
4-6" 500-600nt (US$15-19)
7-10" 1200-1500nt (US$38-46) Rarely available

14 Clown Loaches. Sizes: 2 of them are 2.5", 9 of them are 3" to 3.5", and 3 of them are 4". They are very healthy and stable; I've had them for 2.5 years.

Currently for sale in Alameda, CA 94501. All 14 for $200. No shipping- Local pick-up only.

Comes out to roughly $14 each and average size is 3.5". PM me if interested. You won't find prices this low in the Bay Area, CA for loaches this size AND this healthy.

1.5" - $2.98

http://fintique.home.texas.net/fintique update.htm

I also just recently picked up a 7" YoYo Botia for $14.99. Just moved up to a 140g tank, so we've got room now. Who knew the low cost of living in Texas extended to fish prices!?!?

ohhhh....I'm so jealous you live there. I remember back in the 90's driving down there just to go to fintique. That store has the best prices of any lfs I've seen.

Anyways my lfs wants $29.99 for a 2-3 inch clown loach :screwy:
