I have 2 emp 400's and I use both the bio-wheel and pot scrubbies. I use the pot scrubbies that I can trim to fit in one of the extra chambers that come with them. .
I use the green "flat" pot scrubbies in the emp's
I also have 2 magnum 220's on the same 150g and I use those round nylon pot scrubbies in those inner chambers.
So far so good, the water is clear, tests fine and fish are healthy.
