I mentioned the cycle thing as I was not sure if they needed cycled or not. Thanks for clearing that up.

I will look a little more into how they would do in screen.

I may say the hell with geckos ( if the screen will not work) and try two different types of chams.

What size tubs do you keep them in? Just out of curiousity. They have tweaked my interest and I have a few bigger tubs begging for something down the road. Alot of my darts I have moved over to tubs so to speak as well. So much easier for moving.

I kept everything except Fimbriatus in 58 or 60 quart tubs. I see pictures of people keeping them in screen cages, and in those pictures I always see curled up tails. That means dehydration. The tails should be flat, not curled up like a wilting plant.......

Hey if you want to try helmet igs I can assure you that kingsnake ads have them with quite some regularity. I think getting yoursef a few and try to breed them would be a very interesting endeavor, very few people have done it so far and they are vegetation compatible. However be informed that they are one of the matamatas of the lizard world, they remain imobile for hours, which you may view as a advantage or disavantage. Its fun to ask gests to find them ;) They stress easily but most are ok to perch on your hand for a few moments. Quite fun critters if you ask me.

I will keep checking the kingsnake ads for them. I really would love to get some. You dont see them enough. The one I did have spent of lot of time immobile so I can handle that part. I may put out some want ads for them.

Eric - Nice to know about the curled up tails. I have been looking at various ads the last few days and have noticed a few with the wilted plant look to their tails.

Besides the curled tails is there anything else to look for ?

Pretty much that........You won't be able to see any of the other signs in a picture, aside from maybe a really bad shed........

Been doing some searching.

I like the mossy leaf tails and the Eban’s Leaf Tail Gecko. Any body have any suggestions on them?

Start with anything but Phatasticus or Ebanui........The smaller they are, the harder it is to tell if something is off.........Lineatus or Fimbriatus is what I would go with.......
