Revised
revision #3
U shaped design, at each tip of the U the depth would be about a foot, 7 sections; drop off between sections, deepest section would be where the U meets in the center at about 12 feet deep. I figure with the whole pond filled up it would hold about 42900 gallons. I have a design if anyone wants to see it, I will put it on if I can figure out how to do that.
Decor would include:
Driftwood
Lava Rock
Sunken structures
Plants
anything suggestions?
Fish:
Suckerfish
Freshwater Drum
Green Sunfish
Crappie (Black and White)
Bullhead Catfish (Yellow, Brown, and Black)
Common Carp
Koi
Largemouth Bass
Shovelnose Sturgeon
Walleye
Rudd
Chain Pickerel
Any suggestions?
Food fish tank/pond:
Gizzard Shad
Minnows
Shiners
Food fish would be raised on site mostly. Food that would be brought from elsewhere would be inspected before fiving it to the fish.
I would also tell people that if they had fish that outgrew their home aquariums and they called in advance that I might be able to take them. They would get a discount on seeing the tank if I can make it a business. Any suggestions?
Also I am only 17 right now, so this would not be even close to possible in another 10+ years.
