Ridiculous stuff your LFS/Petsmart has told you

Your Petsmart sells RTC's? That should be illegal.

This was a long time ago, lol...like back in the day when they were $50 a piece. They had 3 and were selling them for $80. I ended up getting it for $1.64 because the guy looked at the signs with what was suppose to be in that tank. So I bought it as a Aeneus Cory Catfish. That's how bad it was.

So to sum it up...I bought a RTC as a Cory Catfish that grew as large as a common Pleco at 6" according to him.

I think this happened to me back in 2003 or 2004 when FRTs were legal to purchase from the LFS.

The guy basically swore that FRTs feed and should be fed a steady diet of tubifax worms -_-"

No, gold saums are variants of the trure green terror. just like the albino oscar.

They're is a big debate whether they're even the same species or just regional variants of each other. WHICH ARE IN THE WILD and not influenced by man like albino oscars. of course there are gold saum in the wild.

To my mind the gold saum is a completely different species the true green terror only gets to around 4-5", and the saum can reach around 12" so to my mind a varient shouuldnt have such a big size difference.
