Damn Amazon sent me the wrong pellets! They sent me the Rift Lake Formula for African Cichlids even though my order said Central/South American Cichlid Pellets. Does anyone know if they are close enough to interchange?

I don't think it matters. I have all three and the ingredients when compared are very similar. the south american pellet has more protein, but not much more.

I bought 2 of the same bass I've had them since around valentines day they've put on about 1" and have been hitting Cichlid gold mini pellets since day 2. Only decent pic I have of them right now but they are starting to look pretty goodImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1395156359.701773.jpg

Look like mine. Already getting spangles in there dorsal l. Mine are taking mini gold too but I can feed them the new area almost every hour they will always eat it. I'm trying to get them as big as possible so they can go in the big tank. Guessing not until the end of the summer.

Thanks RBoydIV, the company selling the New Era pellets said they are sending me a replacement, and to go ahead and keep the wrong one. I'll try it today!

My bass took to the New Era pellets quite well! I am feeding them the Rift Lake formula, still waiting on the Amazon seller to send me the right ones. But I love how these pellets are softer. Makes it easier for them to eat, and eat more and quicker. Thanks for the tip RBoydIV and Trey!

Mine are still gobbling them up. Mine ate now taking the floating mini cichlid gold more often now. Love the combo of pellets! My two are growing quite nicely.
