Well bad news this morning I found my bigger and better look of the two dried up on my floor. What a bummer. Some how he jumped out of the 1/2 inch gap in the glass top for the filter tubing. So bumped. So I have emailed imperial tropics asking if they have any left from this batch to match my one still left. If so I'm getting 3 more. If not was thinking of ordering some golds from snookn21. Anyone have any of his golds? If so hire you like them?

I talked to mike today from imperialtropicals.com and he said he could send me 2 at 4" from the same batch as my current one, I'm thrilled. Love working with these guys do what they can to help. Will post new pics when I get them.

So I got my new Lil guys in. Ever since my biggest jumped to his death the other has been very skidish and now he's making my two new ones skidish as well. When I walk by the tank they dart to the corner. They are eating but its really annoying. Anything I can do to calm them down. I don't have a background would this help? My photo period is only 5 hours temp is 84 and water chem is good with 2 bi weekly 50% WCs. Any help would be great. V

I have some of his too and also a few deaths. They act the same way. Mine are about 7-8 inches. ha.
 
Mine only died because it jumped out of the 1" gap for the filter in the glass lid, crazy. Im thinking of moving them into a dived 75g to see if that helps. i need to free up the 30 breeder for some african fry anyways. The new ones were bold and aggressive until yesterday and started to act like to other when he darted the other two followed. Only thing keeping me from moving them is that the other fish on the other side of the divider is a 8" m SRD and they would be kill very quickly if they some how got around the divider.
 
I have some rose red barbs that are in there left over to control some hair algae problems i was having a while ago. They are also in with 3 red head geos that came with them. They also are skidish when the Kels run they follow ha. More dither though?
 
Rocks sand like substrate. Its was a planted tank so it has a very light and fine gravel like substrate like Eco complete. Some live plants too.
