Rose Queen Cichlid

Can a rose queen live with a JD in a 55 gallon. They are both about 8".

I'd say no... too territorial of fish.. the Rose Queen will probably end up killing the JD..

I think you will need a larger tank, we used to have some in a store over a foot long.

flowerhorns are more of a solitary fish

A 55 Gallon is pretty much only big enough for one cichlid full grown.. You can use it as a grow out tank but for a RQ you can only have one and even a 55 is a bit small....

What is a Rose Queen??? Is that some type of Flowerhorn?

I'd say you cant keep anything with the RQ or the JD in a 55 at that size they will probably fight til one is gone or dead and gone.
