That is true. I just buy malaysian. THe LFS south of us got in 2 pallets of it, including one piece that was 36" long 25" tall 22" wide. It wasn't too bad on price either, only $52. Huge piece. I would like to find some nice pieces near me, but the closest pieces that look good are more than a 2 hour drive away.

it is easier for young royals to chomp on the soft woods. also i dont know the exact period of time that they can go without wood, but it does get to a point that you cant return- not trying to alarm you just let you know.

and remember, take dead wood from the streams etc, but dont cut down branches etc. it'll be no good and save the trees lol!

EXXXXXXXXXACTLY.. go to a sandpit, or a sandy riverbank and find a nicely aged piece of wood that looks bright white... thats what i did...Hiked all day to get to it.. but saved some money! and your right save the trees!
