What happened to the RTC? :(
he was dead when i got there.

it had been in the basement bathroom and no one had been down there for 8 days apparently. we was about 20-22" and in a 40 breeder. pretty horrific seen. they made me take it anyways insisting it was "asleepin" i said ****off and left it in there driveway. kinda made my mom mad but oh well.

You can tell your mom, that was a very appropriate time to say that, and they deserved a whole lot more.

Has anyone ever heard of a RTCxTSN looking like they have a thin layer of gold plating on them? When he first started developing this I immediately jumped to the conclusion that he must have Oödinium (velvet). When I didn't see any dusting to it and realized it just looks like skin pigmentation, I began to worry he might be jaundice or something. But, this isn't just yellow, this is shiney. It literally looks just like a layer of gold plate. Has anyone heard of this before on these cats?

Here are some pics. Sorry the shine isn't picked up in the photos, but at least you can see how much of his body it covers. The comparison really shows up against the TSN in the first photo.

Absolutely stunning! I honestly wanted to say thank you for your knowledge and care on these catfish and other fishes. Your set up just inspires more and more ppl on how to properly care for these monster fish that should not be taken for granted. I can't wait til my little RTC/TSN looks like that and I really hope my dream of building a indoor monster tank/pond will come true to house these beautiful river monsters because I know one day I'll need a bigger proper home for them. Thanks again.
