The thing is so many RTG for sale in Singapore at a good price I think around s$280 then why would anyone bother buying a RTG with out a cert unless the price is very very cheap people may as well buy a Rtg with a cert and stop all the no cert problems
I think you could call AVA and ask them to send someone to check it. Even if there isn't any tags in the aro, they would just confiscate it. You won't get into trouble since you're being honest by calling them in the first place.

It's very stressful for the are to be scanned as it's something you can do in the tank the fish needs to be caught and in a big bag at least
If you have more than 1 are that you are selling it's best to scan them when you hook the fish out to sell if you scan now then put all the aros back in the same tank you will have no idea which tag number goes with each fish

I'm hoping to find someone who isn't so bothered about the tags but rather the quality and the future of the fish. But still, i will find out their tag numbers before selling them. And i've just been told(Alex i've already told you) that they might not be RTGs cos' my friend's late father bought them at $1k per fish. As some of you have stated earlier, RTGs aren't that expensive so they might some other type of asian arowana. Will clear everything up with pictures soon. Thanks for all the comments guys, really appreciate them <:
