RTM Pair & Dovii Pair together

very nice fish and photos man. i think the male dovii may be a little too small to breed sucessfully but you never know, it may just take him a couple of go's to get the nack. good luck with this whole pond research. if it all goes ahead can you keep us updated?
 
If you find your male is too small, lets throw my male and your female in the pond together!

Ill do update threads whenever we go out and check on the fish hopefully.

The college is in Southeastern NC. We have several in the area that have Great Marine Biology programs...UNCW, CFCC & BCC being the best. Im Alumni and I know someone going to class at one...and he wants to make it his summer project.

Thanks Man...will do. I still might be interested in making the tank for them only, if they are compatible. I just really dont want to get rid of the Trimac more than anyone.

I dont have that problem at all. My female will hold her ground no matter who messes with her, but the male hides all the time, or did until yesterday morning when I posted these pics. He is by her side now, not hiding at all.:headbang2
But they arent mean in my tank...the Trimac, female Dovii and the male Festae are the meanest ones.
