Is it immigration in general thats the problem or illegal immigration ?
Both I think , people are seeing stuff on the news daily and listening to lots of crap about our county being over run taken over etc etc but they all seem to forget Britain has always been like this it's a multi cultural society where people come from all walks of life , it doesn't mean that were all going to become Muslim in the future lol

Ahh man say it aint so....smh

I believe if you belong to one country in the EU that you can travel and seek work in any part of it. I'm not sure if it's as lax as I believe it to be, but that may mean immigrants working for as little as 1 year in a weak economy (poland etc) can freely relocate to the UK with a stronger currency. Long term this is a much larger problem than it is currently. I'm a born and bred 'merican and I am more ignorant of EU policy than knowledgeable of it lol.

That was my understanding too. I guess the word immigration through me off.

Migration is a better term, but at the end of the day it's people pouring out of the middle east and into English neighborhoods that are the spoken issue. That and they decide that if they get enough of them into an area that they have unwritten rights on the land they relocated to. If Islam is a peaceful religion then I am the best fish keeper on this site.

My problem with it is this , loads of people who are taking about imagination and voting out for that sole reason are unemployed in Britain so they don't contribute to the system just take , Polish or any other foreign citizen who work in the UK also pay uk tax so they are contributing so what's the problem , they also can't be taking people's jobs if they can't be bothered to get one in the first place the jobs are there to be taken

I was under the impression that 9 or most of the other participating were pretty much dictate v Brussels

The problem isn't that they don't pay taxes. I'm very sick of this tired old argument used here in the US as well when referring to people from south of the border. The problem is that when they come in droves and are fine with living in conditions that most Americans are not happy with, they can afford to work for far cheaper. It's a race to the bottom. Being a drywall guy or a painter hardly pays a healthy wage any more because our immigrant population, many of whom are here illegally are willing to do the work for pennys on the dollar and live in sub par conditions because it's what they're used to. I live in a modest townhome with my Fiance and it's quite small, about 1100 sq. ft. 3 doors down there is a nearly identical home with 8 yes EIGHT latino folks living there and now there's a major parking issue with all the vans.

Furthermore I am in the middle of a kitchen renovation and it's quite apparent to me that these migrant workers have absolutely decimated the small construction businesses around Baltimore. I only needed the kitchen drywalled, new cabinets hung, and some tile put down. In previous times there were many handymen that would do this for a reasonable sum. Now it's devolved to either having a larger company with much higher overhead do the work or hiring a group of guys who may or may not be insured and you probably won't be able to follow up with them if they screw something up. This trend is found in many other industries besides construction as well. There will always be classes of people who make less money but if we want to have our lower and middle class enjoy a decent quality of life it's not fair that they must compete with people who are fine living in what we consider sub-standard conditions.

I was a roofer for 26 years, I watched my trade take a dump in the later 80ies and 90 do to it, and moved out of California because of it.
