Great info chris. I just want to point out that if the female lays eggs its fertile. An infertile female cannot produce eggs, like an infertile male won't produce sperm. Just saying as I have seen some people blame the female with unfertilized eggs.

This is incorrect. Males can produce unviable sperm and females can produce unviable eggs.

I thought red terror was the exception - Festae right? Were you refering to the reason being that your blood parrot was the male??? 'Cuz' that would be the valid reason. Festae x Centeral American produces fry right?

I have a tank with 7 small fish...3 dovii, 2 red devil, 1 false red terror and 1 haitienesis....can any of these be cross bred?? If not what should I try adding that will?

nope umbee is south american and flowerhorn is a central american hybrid
