S. leucosticta or S. jurupari?

spangle is like that sparkle(idk how else to explaining that shiny)

but for example some people cant tell the difference between a mono bass n a kelberi

kelberi can the spangles on the tail and fins

Okay, I managed to get some pics of my fish when his colors were more "fired up" so to speak. You can see the markings on his face in these photos.

Darth Pike: What do you think after seeing these photos?

After a look and comparison of the other photos I'd say S. leucosticta, but the only comparison I have is the previous thread's pics so I'm not 100% sure.
 
It's an odd fish ... everything screams leuco to me except it's missing the rows under the dorsal, which as far as I am aware, are a big diagnostic for leuco's. So at the moment I would call it Satanoperca cf. leucosticta. Hopefully edburress will chime in, he has more scientific articles than I do and the geo bible to boot.
