Might be a Satanoperca mapiritensis instead.

LOL! That was my post/fish. Ed and Darth Pike are the experts but I will tell that in looking at the shots "colored up" and the ones not, yours looks pretty close to my S. Mapiritensis. Mine seems to have some more color on the tail and anal fin but not by much. Could be the size diff too.
