That was my thought. My girlfriend likes the fish, especially the stingray. She doesn't like them enough to have them or care for them. I don't mind at all. It's nice that I have something I can do by myself. I don't like everything that she likes either.
plus, when you get married(to whomever) you can always use it as an excuse to buy more tanks for yourself. "i'm bummed out that you didn't like the 100g tank honey...but don't worry i'll find a way to use it".
well...its not all bad news when your other half doesnt like fish...my bf used to hate them and used to think i was silly for loving fish but i didnt push him, i just let him come round and see the fish i keep and my common plec got all friendly with him lol so i let him have the common and he bought a big tank...now he has a saltwater tank (that was recent, probably two weeks ago) and is upset because his madarin goby is sick but will not do any research himself, he wants me to do it all for him....i was like "err...i dont think so...do it yourself?!!!" so...dont give up hope but put some nice fish in there that you know she will like and pretend its hers, give it a name or something lol.
