hmm I smell a liar. But in case I am wrong, I would advise to NOT get a saltwater crocodile. Especially if you don't know how to care for them.

I agree. DO NOT get a salt water croc. It will probably eat you. They get too large to keep in an aquarium and if you can't care for it throughout it's life, then what's the point in geting it. If you have an acre sized pond in you backyard then you may be able to do it. Otherwise stay away from it. It's kinda like the people that put a shark in a 100 gallon fish tank because it will fit in it for a month. Once it gets bigger, they have nowhere to put it.

VERY bad idea:screwy: Its like someone that never cared for a fish being ofered a wells cat fish. DONT bring that animal home, saltwater crocs are extremely agressive, powerfull creatures and that letting alone the fact that they are the biggest croc species. They will grow to 20 plus foot and even a 3 footer is capable of horrendos damage, easily crush a hand or amputate a few fingers. Dont do it man

wow man give him a break guys if he can handle and house one with proper houseing and can get one then good for him i never owned one or do i know how to care for one do to the fact there very hard to get and care for i know you have other crocs and such but think long and hard about this one they really dont make good pets

If you need to ask how to care for a saltwater croc you shouldn't keep one. Too advanced. It would be like if I knew nothing about snakes and went straight into keeping anacondas.
:iagree:

Im gona say this once then leave it because you need help not people giving you hell but,
No salt water crocs they get 20ft+ and unless you have a history with croc keeping you dont stand a chance of keeping it and im sure even those who have a history in croc keeping see it as a rediculous endevor.
Its like me saying ive orderd a great white shark for my tank!
Besides the croc will kill and eat you when it gets big one slip up and your its dinner no joke (not saying crocs are mindless killers but there is a very large chance it will eat you when big)
