True reptech, but if I go into my turtle pen at home my box turtles don't try to eat me. If he really does have experience with crocodilians then why is he asking question about how to keep a SW croc on a fish site? Pretty much 99% of us have only seen crocs of any species in zoos or on TV. I personally could care less if he gets it or not. But a 12 inch baby croc can grow into a 20 foot powerful beast. A 3 inch baby leopard gecko grows into a 8 inch cricket killing machine. Which is more of a threat to human life?
 
lol guy i will have soon in next week :) with an baby aligator and india croc too
because i have an big farm for them :) just bough one week ago lol. my new home and i have an big pond for that aligator when he get big lol and wall so he cant attack anyone :).india croc so cheap :D like 20$ and the aligator so expansive in vietnam it 600$ lol

so you know NOTHING about saltwater crocs, yet you are getting one and are asking us how to care for it?

really really bad idea. i suggest you not get the croc-you couldnt afford to feed or care for it,and keep in mind its a wild animal that will outgrow you in strength and weight. you know nothing of a crocs behavior and habits.

id suggest you not get the croc, and concentrate on fishkeeping.

that would be like me saying "Hey guys! i am getting a wild tranqued puma from the jungle today!! YEAHHH!! now, tell me how to care for it, and can it sleep on my couch?"
 
If I were you, and really wanted to get a crocodilian, I'd get a Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman. They only get 5 ft. long and don't have huge mouths like salties do.
The biggest saltie ever recorded was 23 ft long, that's the length of 3 cars, easily! Not to mention they are the most aggressive crocodile in the world and can easily tear anything with a spine in half. For a good idea on how powerful these animals are, watch some old Steve Irwin shows when he was working with Agro, Charlie, or Aco. All three of those crocs tried to kill him several times.
 
hey navygirl in vietnamese u can buy an saltwater croc but very expansive in the crocodile farm :/ and can ask them how to keep them .i have seen an old man with the big saltwater croc in vietnam and the croc very friendly so ? one day i will post the pic of my new pet croc :/ and gator :D
 
Expect the dead crocodile as you ask us that what you should take care of this saltwater crocodile, why getting it in first place? These crocodiles regularly prey on full grown buffalo which nile crocodile seldom take down cape buffalo...I would recommend dwarf caiman instead of saltwater crocodile...
