its cause of people like you that there's an illegal market for wild animals which leads to poaching and destruction of ecosystems / natural habitats. think conservation. If the saltie grows and eats then wonderful. It'll send the correct message across to all fools around the world.

Steve Irwin gave his while working for conservation of wildlife and creating awareness but people like this guy . . . .need I say anything more.

I wonder how he knew that it was a salt water crocodile ????

I remember that thread as well. But look at it this way, he posted twice right away in that thread and never returned. I am sure he may be responsible but with only 16 posts its really hard to trust someone.

Would love to see some pics of his facility that he is going to keep these real monsters in. If he can successfully care for these guys, I say go for it. It wil take a lot of manpower and money. You think 600 bucks is a lot for the gator, wait til you see its food bill each month. Mostly I'd have to say that I'm jealous. Though I don't think my wife would be keen on me keeping monsters like that (she's making me get rid of the 6 ft redtail 'cause it might eat the baby).
