OK, thanks! I'll put him back in the display tank tonight. Its really amazing how many different kinds of hitchhikers come with liverock, even if they arent' all good...its almost like I find a new one every week. So far I've found two crabs, three different kinds of starfish, sponges, featherdusters, aiptasia, hydroids, a bunch of wierd stuff I haven't identified, and even some corals.

Now those star fish are safe but when you start to seethe little ones that are white and green or blue in the center you got problems.. They like to eat zoo's
I can't remember the name but ooooo they are bad news my friend..
And the multiply super fast..

I've already seen some tiny white starfish that actually hitched a ride on the green zoos I got. They are completely white and have really long thin legs like brittle stars though, so I thought they were safe. They aren't the kind you are talking about are they??

there are ton's of fun little hitch hikers you get on live rock some rare, some good, some bad, and some just plain unexplainable.

The float switches for my DIY Auto-Top-Off system finally showed up today. The timing was perfect because I am going out of town tomorrow and now I don't have to find someone to top off the tank while I'm gone :D.

I've assembled the whole thing and it works perfectly.

Thanks Myteemouse for giving me the link that shows how to put one of these together and helping me out. Also, thanks Chompers for starting the thread. Here is a link:

The only thing I did differently than Myteemouse and Chompers was to use an Aqualifter instead of a standard pump for the return because the GPH of an Aqualifter is VERY low. Here are some pics of the tools and materials you need to build one of these and what it looks like put together:
