Sand?

most river type biotopes and the like look really good with sand. also alot of people with planted tanks use topsoil and sand on top of it and that looks nice.

i used pool filter sand from leslies 9$ about for 50lbs .. much cleaner then play sand an nice look

i use pool filter sand for all my tanks less time on first time was cleaning and depending where you get it it comes in different colors mines white with brown speckles
