Currently it houses 5 clown loaches, 3 BN plecos, 2 stunted ID sharks(I know they should have more room but since I rescued them almost two years ago and they're still only 6" I'm not worried at the moment) and over 30 various Mbuna and other rift cichlids including yellow labs, kenyi, bumblebee, auratus, snow white, electric blue johanni, white lab, livingstonii, frontosa, blue peacock, and hap 44.

I have three that are all approx 2.5", and on a side note those are two floating turtle logs at the top(came with the used tank) and my loaches love playing in them...it's kinda odd seeing bottom dwellers up at the surface so often.
Thats cool. Haha I was wondering what those were. I bet it would be real cool if you could somehow anchor them to were they were in the middle.
try cutting a pice of spongey pad they sell that you can cut to size. its the same material they use in filter cartridges. almost like a floss pad.
Craft stores would sell larger blocks of foam and sponges, but I wouldn't know how to tell if it's fish safe or not, but I do know that many people here do use them.
