im actually thinking of making it silver perch instead of jade
 
Silvers are much easier to find locally. That being said, jades colour up much more nicely. Out of curiosity, where would you be getting the jades from? I only ask because they are not easy to get in Sydney or NSW for that matter - believe it or not despite being native, in NSW they are considered noxious - just like redclaw crays and sleepy cod.

Either way, sounds like you're pretty much set. lol even i'm getting anxious to see the pond stocked up.
 
haha thanks guys for all the support this is my first big project its hard getting the money as im only 15 and have a minamum pay job but its starting to pay off and im not that worried about the jar jumping but there wil be a screen like tent think on top just to be safe

im going to raise the the jar and barra till there like a foot in length and then in to the pond
 
haha just found out my silver dollers are breeding i will take them out so the ar and barra have the tank to them selfs
