Saratoga jardini pond build

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they are pretty tough fish but very slow growers compared to barras and jars.

ok but at 25cm to start they should be good for now

25cm was my suggestion for wild caught... not allowed to remove smaller from the wild. At lfs they could range between 5cm and 40cm. They usually are on the smaller end of the scale though.

well i could give converting some big ones a try since they are not prdators they shoulld be fine with the smaler barra and jar (jar 16cm barra 9-10cm)

personally, id keep the bream separate from the others to begin with. God only knows what you could be introducing into the tank

true i might have a 40 gallon tank opening up which i can get them all healhty in

maybe for now u should just worry about the task at hand... getting the toga and barra ready fr the pond lol

yea but im allways looking to expand some how and there not gooing to be ready for a while yet probely at the 18inch mark i will feel safe then so no animal will get them

or at the end of the year

at least it will give u some time to sort out the heating
