Oddball-I am very sorry to hear the bad news about Misha. My prayers are with you. I had to hlod back my tears at work. I know how hard it is to let go of a pet that you love, and would return that love 10 fold.
I still miss my cat Mia...
 
You know i am sitting here with tears running down my face after reading your story.. i think it is because your story touches all of us..and when we read about how much your cat meant to you we all grieved once more for the animals we have loved and lost.... so you touched us all and we share in your loss.. animals have a special place in our heart and we should all feel proud that we can love and feel deeply when it is time to say goodbye.. and most of all lean on one another the way all of you did.. and give our support.. It isn't easy to go through it alone..

I am very sorry to here about your loss,
a few years ago after my divorce,i rescued a cat.
She has been a great companion ever since.
When she does go I hope i will be there with her as you were with Misha.
 
Wow that is sooo sad. My cat which is like a year old looks almost identical to yours. I don't like to admit it but I love my cat. Would be very sad if anything like that ever happend to him.

Sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. I had a cat since it was a baby and I grew up with it for 7 years. One day, it never came home and I heard that cyotes were around the neiborhood at the time. That was 5 years ago. I still think of him from time to time.
 
You did great with her..gave her the best possible life and companionship which she could have been missing...cherish the fond memories of your companion and remember what a great cat she was. :)
