School Of Armatus

I have a feeling he may be referring to the Georgia Aquarium as they had a large shoal of BIG red-tails, but no armatus. Also they all ended up dieing in a few months...

that was what i was talking about...
thought they were armatus.
i heard from several websites that they school.
but you may be right.
ive only had an armatus once.
long time ago though.
and i didnt have a chance to study him much cause he got shanked by a redtail and died.
i'll take your word for it though,since you are an armatus owner.

I have been learning alot about armatus from fishing websites and forums. It seems that they dont really school, but like many preds are most concentrated where their food happens to be.

Exactly. I have a video where they are fishing Armatus in crazy rapids where I'm sure their is an abundant of food. Like when Salmon breeds and you see them swimming up stream and the Grizzly bears are all in one area praying on the food source. Just like the Grizzly, very territorial and aggressive however congregate in a certain area all together where food is abundant to feed.
