Schooling fish suggestions

Don't rosy barbs get pretty big....like 4-5"? I think in a 24" tank I would stick to smaller fish such as cardinals, rummies, lemon, etc.

if they did 6 fish @ 4" wouldn't it be basically the same as 12 fish @ 2"?

Not 100%, more smaller is better.

I can't find a consistent max size. They say 3" in captivity and 6" sometimes in the wild. It's confusing
