any way you can...but i just set rocks on them in positions where they will not fall.

if your collecting wood a good test is if you can push your thumbnail in to it..or scrape of some wood with your nail..than its not a good peace and is on its way to rotten..so get a nice heavy peace that is not soft^_^

And here's a "before" f.t.s. of my 55 gal. hopefully will have the driftwood in place in the next few days. still letting them soak and scrubbin them everyso often. (the reason all the plants are in the middle is b/c my pleco likes to freak out and dig them up lol)

Hey nice driftwood you found, the top 2 and bottom 2 will work good, im not sure the middle two will make good driftwood because its not completely dead. when i go driftwood hunting i look for wood that has been submerged for awhile so that its water logged and good for tanks. im looking forward to the update.

hey thanks! it really is just 3 pieces. Pics were taken @ 2 different angles a piece. I love the 1st and the 3rd tho. The middle is really just some water logged roots. I had wondered if it will make a good piece or not. i guess we'll see in the next few days!
