I am out vacationing in Monaco and I saw the sea shepherd (from Whale wars) pull into the harbor. I was wondering what you guys thought of them. Do you support them or think they are a bunch of crazy hippies? I will save my comment until later. I want to hear what you guys think first.

im all for saving the whales, but sea shepherd's tactics are dangerous to themselves and others and also will do little in the long run to save whales
They go out there and do work. Unlike those who bring cardboards on to the streets to do something they call it the protest. Its stupid. The only way work is going to be done is to go out there and do work
Thier methods do more harm then good, they have a good cause but are like five year olds when it comes to expressing it. They are making the opposition of whaling look very stupid by doing what they do. They are endangering peoples' lives, wasting lots of money, and bringing down the same cause they want to support. First of all you cannot claim someone is carrying out illegal activities and try to stop them professionally. While at the same time performing illegal stunts and actions themselves. How does one come to the logical conclusion that if I become a nuisance to these people they will stop thier multimillion dollar operation? Im not aware of how japanese law works, but I feel spending the money they raise on legal actions agaisnt these japanese companies, as well as PI's to investigate whats going on, that it would be a lot smarter use of thier funds and common sense.
Where is the option for "I've never even heard of them?" I had no idea what you were talking about until I saw where you mentioned whale wars.
