it doesn't make sense from a business perspective, and it also puts retailers who sell Prime in an akward spot too:
you want to have customers buy from your store on a frequent basis.
if you sell them a 2 L bottle of Prime for only $30 US, you won't see them in your store for water conditioner for the next 10 years...LOL
it is completely backwards all around..
Seachems products are excellent, but they are almost too concentrated in some cases..
even the fertilizers are the same. One little bottle treats like 4000 gallons..well, you sell someone a bottle of that stuff and they won't have to buy fertilizer, seachem or otherwise for a long long time..
thats not what seachem would want and thats not what a retailer would want..
so...its really really weird...
Our store sells Kent Ammonia Detox, which treats 20 gals per capful. It's sad that I don't buy filters, food, or conditioner from the store I work at,and I get products at cost.
