Seachem Stability: PUT TO THE TEST/blank slate (daily perams/pics)

I think I added too much ammonia to my tank (it's at 4.0 ppm right now). I'm going to be on day 3 tomorrow, should I do a WC and start over? Or should I be alright after the 7 days?

If you are doing a fishless cycle with Stability then I would not do a WC. Might as well leave it and be sure your ready for fish (I haven't done a fishless version with Stability yet). The worst that can happen IMO is you will stretch out the amount of time it takes to be ready for fish.

I used Stability on my fishtank on a fishless cycle and didnt work, i had 5ppm of ammonia in the tank with EHEIM 2215 running, at 30C Temp and Water Pump oxigenating the water for 10 days, nothing had changed... NO nitrite and no Nitrate.. and ammonia was still at 5ppm then i gave up on Stability ( i did shake well, where it became milky and cloudy ). Now im on my 16th day of cycling, i added some hardy fish and using NITRIDAC from prodac and i have seem some changes... ammonia went down to 0.5ppm, Nitrite - 3 ppm and Nitrate - 30 ppm..

Im just worried about one thing, seeying that ammonia didnt went to ZERO yet and i have a high reading of Nitrite and Nitrate, should i do a WC or wait few more days?

Let me know guys!!! Heres the link to my Cycling Topic: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...tres-Fishtank-Need-some-Advices-and-Help-Here

If your doing a fishless cycle what benifit is the water change going to bring? I would leave it.

Very cloudy water. Look back on the first few pages, a member added a pic of what their bllom looked like.

I experienced a bloom 2nd day of using stability, not as severe as the person who posted the picture of the very very cloudy water, but it was cloudy but it cleared very quickly 1 day its was cloudy and that was all. should i be worried about that?

I tried Seachem Stability, it didn't do anything. There's only one brand I have come to trust and that's Microbe-Lift. I use 5 of their products and they work like magic. The cycling products just work and fast. I'm going to try the API cycling stuff to see how that goes. So far I have yet to find any products that can even come close to matching Microbe-Lift. They are a little higher priced than others but worth every penny.

I'm sorry for bringing this thread up from the grave...but I recent;y decided to jump on the stability bandwaggon lol as people say it works very well here on mfk. In a few days when I receive my dr tims ammonia...I will does the tank with ammonia to start the cycle. Do you guys think it will be ok to dump a lot of the bottle into my sump where I have 5 gallons worth of pond matrix?

Also I have not yet purchase pool filter sand as my substrate...can I cycle it without the sand or should I wait and add the sand in so bacteria can grow on it?
