Wow. U should definitely make a thread on how to remove the stinger. And it should be made a sticky!! Hope they ray is doing ok.

All is well with the ray. I noticed it when I was feeding them and he was actually eating with the barb in him. My male aparicio got stuck in the same place but his was angled down his body or it would of went through the disk as well. I just checked on him and he is swimming about so we will see.

Wow, what are the odds it would happen to you twice in a years time. Glad to see that the flower is OK.
Ouch....I've left stingers for days before because I am too lazy to pick it up...I guess this is a good lesson to learn.
