Tetra products are sold here (I feed their pellets) so I'll try and get someYou'll be ok. Bichir worms is fairly simple to get rid of. Any meds containing praziquantel and Metonidazole is sufficient. Even at 50% dose I believe. Perhaps, others here can chime in in dose amount. Cost of parasite guard is the price of a pack of cigarettes ($4-5 usd). Also, salt and high temp is not gonna help. Just add additional aeration when putting in meds.

Hope so, thanks!Well thats a bummer. Good thing it's easily fixed. Good luck brother
That's likely damage from the worms. Quite frankly, I'd get the meds and treat asap. 3/4 dose sounds about right. The one time I saw a few of these worms. I dosed half. It went away in a day or 2 for me.Awesome. My dad says he'll try and get some for me in the week. So thoughtful of him!
and the pale blotches on their bodies, should I worry about that?
No plans right now. Tank's quite full, kinda wishing I got 2 WC polys nowJust keep an eye out.
If you plan on getting more polys. Ask ur dad to get a little more of the medication in case you decide to get more wild caught polypterus.
