Lucky we noticed it right away, when i saw it i was like" what is that? Its not a slime coat" but that the only picture i saw it. Get it treated right away, and sorry this happened.
Thanks a million! I though it was residue on the glass...

Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 your eyes are second to none.

Hendre Hendre in the future treat all new fish in qt with the PG. Two weeks qt without meds really isnt long enough time for issues to pop up
I'll need to get a new quarantine tank. I have no plans for new polys right now

Dimilin won't work. Will likely need to use salt.

Any other meds available?

I'll phone the other shops in the area tomorrow. They are all closed now

What fish are sensitive to salt?

What about prazipro? Will that work?

Hendre Hendre noticed your getting advice from other forums. :)

1. Suggest not doing a full salt dip as per importer
2. Meds for chicken are farm livestock not recommended.
3. Don't think u need a qt tank. Since u stated not being able to afford it
4. Salt and high temp not gonna remedy
5. Maybe call goldfish pond stores for meds

Bichir worms is easy to treat. Just locate prazipro, paraguard, or any fish parasite meds with metro and praziquantel. Good luck
