Severum Experiences??

My green sevrum didn't like me very much. Every time I put my hand in the tank he would attack it and he would always fight with the jag I had. He was a pretty fish, he just hated me.
 
Yeah I just got a gorgeous sev...not sure what kind.....hes golden with red dots over his face and body. Hes already showed my angels whos boss but he seems really placid with the others which is great and my sydontis wont leave him alone.....I think hes in love!
 
mine are pretty docile. they are tough fish. i have a gold one that lost his tail and fins on an attack from my giant gourami and he still lives to see another day. he was almost dead until i seperated him with a divider. now his fins are growing back and he can stand up straight. i also have two green ones, one wild caught and one tank breed. the wild one has more colors than the other one.
 
The gold I had was a bit too docile for my tank, my nicaraguense refused to ever give him a break and he seemed a little too slow for the Silver dollars that shared the tank. However it was a very intelligent fish that would often follow me around the room.
 
i put about 10 or so green sevs along with another 20 or so other small fish in my tank as feeders after the owner who bred them was going to kill them.
1 of them survived until i traded it to a lfs it grew quite big in the few months i had it.
it eat well and was not too agressive but it was quite smart
 
i've never fed mine live. they eat pellets and sometimes frozen blood worms. i heard veggies give them more color.
 
Mine would'nt look twice at a feeder
