severums

The heater shouldn't ever get hot enough for them to burn it on unless you're in freezing weather or something.

Mine get the odd nick and scratch, particularly on their foreheads. My big one has 2 scuffs on it's head and a line down it's back from scraping something while swimming quickly after the smaller Severum. They come and go quite regularly when theres aggression in the tank.

Mine get those kinds of little scrapes on head or flank, too; hasn't been anything to worry about (got 15!!)
You've got some nice looking sevs!!

[onesimus/] and severums are at the top of my list.

Hear, hear, I completely agree. Such awesome fish . . . I think they're going to eventually take over ALL of my tanks. . . . . :nilly:

well, i was having heater issues since it was a new heater in there, and i walked in the room one moring and the temp was 86 or 88 or something when i keep my tanks at like, 80 usually. so i fixed that and now the temp is fine. but it is healing well, and they are looking a lot better!
