The new line is perfect match to the old and letters in. Try to keep all the letter stamped ends of a fitting facing away from line of sight. It will give a smoother finish.

The below is mock up. Will probably stagger the three pipes a bit further so it’s eventually spaced at a 45• angle.

This tank will most likely be stocked this weekend so the wood needs a jump start for scape. It’s a few manzanita pieces combined for the centerpiece.

Using brown zip ties to secure the two pieces. Also drilled holes in the bottom of the wood to the connecting ties are out of line of sight. The one on the right is cut off replaced by the left side.

Let me know when you are going to stock it up, I'll come by and give you some extra hands.

I never bonded that old baffle (left) to the sump. It might not be a permanent sump, but that had to be fixed.

Drilled 256 1/8” pilot holes every inch. It will get bored out 3/16” tomorrow so this setup can use K1 micro if necessary. Just need a new bit in the AM

Added a brace at the front of the sump to mount the return bulkhead, ATO and air lines.

The hole for the return bulkhead is set to dead center in the stand. That avoids any side to side bends

Got the new 3/16” acrylic bit, bored out the baffle and bonded it to the sump. Need to keep myself busy/focused today so we’ll see how far I can get.

Before/after. The brace and baffles added a lot of strength. The brace mount let’s the lids stay sealed. Looks cleaner and more efficient
