Sexy Plumbing - Island Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How are you connecting it to your stand? Just get some sort of hooks with an adhesive?

Just shorter screws than the ply thickness. You don’t want to penetrate the layer of wood or risk hitting the tank material.

Hmm, I feel like that is something I’d just screw up. There is some hard core Velcro that you can stick with adhesive. I’ll just take a trip to Home Depot today and see what my options are.

Finally have a day off and picked up some ply to finish the stand.

I paint the edges the same color as the stand so the wood blends in with the rest of the build. Nice and clean look

The floor is not sitting level so I need to get a fresh cutoff wheel and cut down whatever this was supposed to be. After that and fresh styro the stand is finished.

4th pic up from the bottom. What is the storage looking containers to the right in the background?

Stackable husky bins from Home Depot. They stack up and into each other to stow away into 36” high or so for 6-8.

Quick and easy privacy wall when friends are over too

Got that odd corner piece cut off the stand, floor inlaid and styro replaced.
x2 sheets 3/4” ply and
x1 3/4” styro.

Transferred the acrylic hole template to set the path vertically and follow that spacing throughout the build. It will be the center point reference and determines the width of the overflow boxes as well.

The widest part of any line is the union ball valve handles in a terminated position. 3/8” is about as tight as you can get them and not protrude on the side.

I bought this brand valve specifically for the handle width. Cepex is too wide.
