i have a silver low-profile baitcaster by shakespear.
piece of crap.
cant cast less that 3 oz, not great drag, hood cracked after 2 days of use.
it casts like a deep-sea baitcaster, built for deepwater jigging and trolling. it cant cast light tackle lures like the lpbc on tv or anything
plus, the bar that you depress to freespool does not snap back into place when you reel, you need to reel one turn, push it up halfway, then reel another turn and push the bar up the rest of the way.
unless you need a sturdy reel for deep jigging, trolling, or casting heavy lures/baits, dont even look at them
