any news...??

I had the same incident too but with someoen else. I think they should be okay for at least 3-4days. The cold weather helps, since it put them to sleep. 9/10 it is in the warehouse at room temp. :) best of luck

You should be fine, I am not a Rapps fan, but he has a great packing process. I would not worry.

Dude~FishGuy7~
Hate to disagree with you but USPS does not cover livestock, I know from a hard lesson, Try to file a claim, they will gladly take your insurance money, but will screw you on the claim, I know that for a fact.

Nuthman~

USPS covered livestock for me on an express mail overnighted package since it came with automatic insurance up to $100. They refused to cover shipping costs though.

Dru~

They screwed me, I lost a Big male Cuban and paid for extra insurance, they would not cover livestock, that was last fall. Im just hoping the guy gets his fish, but FedEx should be (you would think) better. going west should help the lil guys.....

Thanks man, good to hear other experiences, needless to say AP to AP is the only way for me.

Nuthman~

Let's keep insults to a minimum. All the guy wants to know is if his fish should be ok and what he can do in the meantime.

To the OP very little you can do other than call fedex and try to get delivery expedited. May be a case of a fedex manager will pull some strings for you.. And after the arrival notify Jeff.

just got them, 7 fish looks like most are dead

USPS is supposed to cover livestock, they've screwed me a number of times, so I guess they have so many regulations regarding DOA, guaranteeing live arrival really doesn't help us, the hobbyists much. My first post was referring to UPS/Fedex anyway, I used the wrong term...sorry about that. UPS and Fedex are generally good about refunding money. :)

one fish out of 7 alive the flagtail, 5 M schomburgkii and one leptobarbus hoevenii dead.
