short body oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh god. You did not just compare a disabled child to a fish that has been PURPOSELY bred to look like a weather balloon.

Congratulations... thanks to your support, some more perfectly healthy fish will be tortured and dyed in hope that someone like YOU will buy them. But who cares, I'm probably just a hater, right? lol

you mad bro?

Despite all the negative comments, i find ur oscar very unique and rare and i have to say nice find, curious to see what he will look like in 3-4 months, keep us updated!!

Mmmmm, sacred jewel. Drooool. I've currently got SB jade gody, sun cat, firemouth, convict, will soon have a SB paradise fish as well. Sadness since my SB polleni died (probably from organ compaction).

And, for the record, the world could really use smaller Oscars on a regular basis. Just sayin'.

That would solve everything.

Okay, okay, perhaps my statement seemed a little too far-reaching. But with the popularity of the species and the way it is currently treated, a smaller oscar would probably stand a chance of a longer life in a 55g than the typical oscar who dies early. I mean, look at some other SB fish like those horrid blood parrots that easily live 10+ years with their deformity.

Well whether its man made or naturally born short body, i don't know. Until someone can prove with evidence that its man made, I will give it the benefit of doubt and believe its short body by nature.

To be honest this is my first time rearing a short body oscar and i am curious to see how it will look like in a few months time.

It's cute :o, I don't have a problem with shortbodies lol.. People hate on the most ridiculous things.. but the dyed fish.. I gotta hate on that <_<
