he may fight it, but she has the paper work giving her selling rights. its not hard to see the 2 playing both ends to get the quickest biggest price they could, as fast as they could.

Out here we are hoping Ballmer doesn't buy it, that would be the death knell for the Sonics coming back anytime soon.

TMZ reporting the LA Times article saying Ballmer already bought the team is incorrect. Let's hope so.

There is a reason we lost the sonics, I do not see another team here for atleast the next 5 years.

Several reasons, most of which involved David Stern and Howard Shultz being buttsore over the fact the city wouldn't pay the until 500 Million bill for a new stadium.

Ballmer and Hansen lead the current group trying to get a team back, so if he bails out of that to buy the Clippers, then we won't be getting a team in the next 20 years.

true, but attendance was sucking, and had been. IMHO we do not have the fan base for a NBA team. That would include me. I do not like the NBA, or basketball in general. I would have given my left nut to keep the sea hags here tho, and I am a chargers fan.

What position do you want Lee? I don't
think youre saying Don will stop the suit, are you betting he'll loose the case?
As much I want Sterling to win, his lawyer didn't give me any confidence
yesterday, but he DID comment they're
in it, "till the bloody end"

ya the bet would have to be CONTROLLING ownership ,after the final gun...that's the only way it's fair for both sides to bet...him holding on to "stock " means nothing , whoever controls the team really "owns" it... I SHALL GO AS FAR AS INCLUDING HIS DIRECT FAMILY IN IT AS WELL( but not his wife if they are divorced or there is one pending)

divorce papers have not been filed. her lawyer advised this would not be the time.
